Rolex Sea Dweller 16600 in acciaio assegnato, detto anche "Polipetto", realizzato nel 2008 in esclusiva per il Corpo Subacquei della Polizia di Stato italiana in soli 78 esemplari per celebrare il 50° anniversario del Comando Raggruppamento Subacquei ed Incursori "Teseo Tesei" di Portovenere (La Spezia). Nessuno di questi rari orologi è stato mai consegnato al grande pubblico, ma furono consegnati solo al personale interno delle forze speciali del reparto, esclusiva unità addestrata per missioni di ricerca e soccorso, rimozione di ordigni esplosivi (E.O.D.), difesa da mezzi insidiosi (S.D.A.I.) e particolari interventi di natura subacquea.
Si ritiene che solo circa 20 esemplari di questi orologi furono assegnati ai sommozzatori più prestigiosi, dove riportano nel retro del fondello il numero di brevetto del militare, come nel caso dell'esemplare qui proposto, dove sul fondello è riportato il brevetto di assegnazione n. 126 dell’Ispettore Superiore S.U.P.S. della Polizia di Stato Italiana, Rosario Sanarico, detto Sasà, caduto eroicamente in servizio a Padova nel Febbraio 2016 durante una operazione subacquea.

Rolex Sea Dweller 16600 steel, also known as the "Polipetto," product in the year 2008 exclusively for the Italian State Police Diving Corps in only 78 pieces were produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the "Teseo Tesei" Divers and Raiders Command in Portovenere (La Spezia). None of these rare watches were ever released to the general public, but they were issued exclusively to the department's special forces personnel, an exclusive unit trained for search and rescue missions, explosive ordnance disposal (E.O.D.), defense against dangerous means (S.D.A.I.), and specific underwater operations.
It is believed that only about 20 examples of these watches were issued to the most prestigious divers, where the patent number of the military on the caseback, as in the case of the example propose here, where on the caseback bears the patent number 126 of the Senior Inspector S.U.P.S. of the Italian State Police, Rosario Sanarico, also known Sasà, who died heroically in service in Padua in February 2016 during a diving operation.
